About Us

The Lo’i Collective Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit that aims to create and provide services and programming vitally needed for the people of Hawai’i. 

The Lo’i Collective Foundation focuses on developing need-based services and programming rooted in philosophies of sport, movement, mental health, cultural preservation, and sustainability.

Our MISSION is to aid all ages with physical, cultural and psychological development, preparing all for life.

Our VISION is to support all underserved communities of all ages, races, and backgrounds with our primary focus on Native Hawaiian individuals and families throughout the State of Hawai’i.

Our GOAL is to create a safe and enriching environment for everyone involved. We strive to work with others to build character and enjoy the activity. We value integrity, excellence, commitment, respect, and sacrifice. It is our goal to develop good personal health habits and pursue excellence in all that we do. We strive to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for everyone who is part of our non-profit organization.

Services

Event & Program Coordination

TLC provides professional coordination services for a variety of events, including workshops,

clinics, tournaments, conferences, and educational programs.

Services include:

● Full event planning and logistics

● On-site event management

● Personnel training for safe and effective execution

● Tournament and league schedule development and formatting

Organizations may contract TLC for event coordination services upon request.

Fees vary based on scope and requirements.


Sports Officials Clinics & Workshops

TLC specializes in training and professional development for sports officials in the following sports:

● Volleyball

● Softball

● Baseball

● Basketball

● Football

Our workshops and conferences typically span two days and include:

● Classroom instruction

● Rules interpretation and mechanics

● Live officiating practice

Skills Clinics

TLC offers sport-specific skills development clinics led by experienced clinicians.

Softball Pitching Clinics

● Every Sunday

● 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

● Location: 2047 Uhaloa Road

● Cost: $25 per hour

● Reservations required

Additional skills clinicians are available upon request.

Event Operations & Training

We provide comprehensive operational support for hosted events, including:

● Staffing support

● Training of event personnel

● Safety planning and execution

● Game and tournament oversight


Grant Writing Assistance

TLC offers professional grant writing support services to organizations seeking funding.

Service fees apply.


Guest Speakers

Experienced guest speakers are available for:

● Conferences

● Workshops

● Sports leadership events

● Community gatherings

Applicable fees apply.


Fundraisers & Special Programs

● Golf Clinic (TBD)

● Coach Scholarship Program (TBD)

Coach H Scholarship

The Coach H Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to exceptional student-athletes from Roosevelt High School and Molokai High School who are pursuing post-secondary education or vocational careers.

Award Details

● Scholarship Amount: $500.00 per recipient

● Recipients:

○ One distinguished male student-athlete

○ One distinguished female student-athlete

○ Selected from each respective high school

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

● Maintain a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)

● Participate in varsity athletics for at least two consecutive years

● Submit official documentation verifying community service participation

Interview Process

Selected candidates will be notified via email to schedule an interview.

Interviews may be conducted in person or virtually. A timely response is required.

Notification of Award

Scholarship recipients will be notified by telephone and email within two weeks following the final interview.
